Today we began discussion of the Animal Kingdom, which includes humans. We are all eukaryotic, multicellular, heterotrophic, and (at some point during our lifespan) able to move freely.
Starting on the less complex side of the spectrum, we have phyla Porifera, Cnidaria, Platyhelminthes, Nematoda, and Mollusca. We will go into more detail on mollusks next week.
