Industrial Tech: Beginning Hot Air Balloon project Life Science: Transcription and Translation, Mutations, Fly Lab setup Government: Social Mobility, Constitutional Amendments General Science: Mitosis, Meiosis, DNA Art: Wax pictures, Planning for junk art sculptures For junk art, students will be be building a sculpture, at least 12 inches tall, using discarded or otherwise junk items such as empty boxes, newspaper, soda cans and paper towel rolls. Please start collecting these materials so we have plenty to work with. In the Fly Lab, students will be working with common fruit flies (Drosophila melanogaster), and keeping track of the ratios of male to female offspring.
