Life Science students took an online quiz to calculate their individual carbon footprints (how many acres it takes to support a person's lifestyle). If you were not in class, visit http://www.myfootprint.org/, take the quiz and send me an email with your results. It's good for ten easy points.
Unfortunate as it may be so early in the year, some students have not turned in all of their assignments. Please confer with me if you even suspect that you are part of this group.
Students will complete fourteen SNAs over the course of the semester, and may do so on their own schedule. The articles are each worth 10 points for general science and 15 for life science, so they constitute a large percentage of those classes' total points. I will not accept more than two per week so if anyone has plans to do fourteen SNAs the first week of December, forget about it. The best way to complete this assignment is to do one per week for 14 weeks. The forms and several news links can be found on the Miscellaneous page. Make sure you use the form associated with your class.
Since Tuesday is an inservice day, website will be due Wednesday the 8th. Please contact me if there are any problems.
